For me the best casino I have visited is the Casino in Helsinki, Finland - what made it great was not only the atmosphere, the ammount of poker tables and the fact I had a fantatisc night at the table - it had two Oasis poker tables which in my experience is pretty rare... Nine of ten casino its straight 5 card stud which for me is as dull as ditch water

Whats your best casino experience?

I really liked the Concord Card Casino in Vienna, Austria. I can't wait to get back and play there. I also played in Louisiana at two casino's. One was Coushatta, which I really enjoyed, and the other was Isle of Capri.

Isle of Capri I did not car much for. For one they tried to rip us off on breakfast the next morning. Also their buffet in the casino was $15 and the food was not very good. I played 3/6/12 there and was not impressed by the poker room staff.

Now Coushatta on the other hand has a beautiful poker room. they offer 3/6/12 and 2/5 No limit Holdem. The staff their was exceptional. Also their buffet was about $8 and it was exceptional. It had a huge selection of food and it was all quality.

Now back to the Concord. I love the Concord. They have poker tournaments every night. Also no limit and 3/6 pot limit poker. I played in several tournaments there and loved it. Also of course since you are in Vienna you get exceptional food and coffee there. They usually serve a 3-course meal that is available at a affordable price. Their staff is extremely courteous and helpful. I am hoping to get back over and play there again this year.

I am still learning but would like to eventually be to a point that I would not be afraid to sit down and play in a casino. I have visited a few casinos in Nevada and at least seen the poker rooms, so I know which one I would go to and try my hand but not until I am sure that I am comfortable with it.

It still makes to nervous now, even thoug I have been doing it for years, I never sit straight down, I watch the tables for a bit and i honestly go for the tables where the best banter is. I love to play but I want good company as well

I think watching the tables before you sit down is always a good idea. I always try and watch before I sit down at a poker table.

That's great advice when you want to play at the cash tables. When you play in tournaments you don't really have that choice you just get ready to play and go get 'em.
