Where are the best places to play poker. I have not played online only in person in Casinos in Vegas, but I would like to know where everyone else plays in person or online.

Hi,

It all depends what your after and what game you want to play, the derivation of poker I like to play is Oasis poker and its not played in that many casinos, so if I find it I have to make a point of remebering it. None of the casinos near me play Oasis so its a holiday game

how is Oasis poker played? Is anything like holdem? I have never seen this game in any poker room or casino.

Yes, I too would like to know the difference in the two and why you choose that one over the other. Knowing details is a good way to learning.

I started out playing at Party Poker and I really liked it there until I tried a few others. It's still a good poker room but now I like Doyles Room and Poker Stars the best. There are quite a few others that are pretty good but start by playing in sites that have freerolls and see how it goes.

Party Poker for me has been by far the best. This is for Play Money though. I advise Paradise Poker for sit and go's or tournaments since they usually have less players at tables, rather than the traditional 10 there are only 5 which makes the game a bit easier

Sounds like Party poker has the winning vote. I will have to check it out and play my hands to see what happens. I will let you know how it goes for me.
