Is there a big difference in strategy between playing in tournmaents versus just live cash games? IU see people play them the same way but I would think since blinds dont go up it should be a different strategy then in a poker tournament? Any ideas on a good book on both?

Yes there is definetly a huge difference. In a tournament you have to take more chances since the blinds go up and your chip stack is constantly dwingling due the blinds increasing. Where in a cash game the blinds stay the same and you can take your time and take less of a chance and stilol be very sucessful. Probably the best books I can recommend to you is Dan Harringtons books he has a whole 3 book series on poker tournament stratregy and he also now has a 2 volume series on texas holdem cash games. Both are excellent choices. I own both series and can gurantee you its the best money you can spend on poker books.
