Hey guys I am new here. I saw the poker forum and thought I would sign up and see what goes on in here. Well anyways I am looking for a good book on Omaha. I started playing but dont know much about the game. I really like it but its baffling to me. I have mostly played No limit holdem in the past and I am justtrying to branch out and see what other kinds of poker are out there. It seems like omaha has a lot of potential to be as popular as holdem one day.

So any suggestions on a good book to learn more about Omaha? I am trying to find one that mostly deals with Pot limit or just Hi. I think Hi/Lo will just really confuse me at this point.

Let me know if any of you have any suggestions and where I can get a book for cheap.

Ok this is the book I am currently reading and I can tell you its been a phenominal book on Omaha to read. It has everythign in it you need to know about this game including: hand selection and even a section that is a play by play of hands for you to get an idea of how to play them. Its like getting instant experience in Omaha. there is a hi/lo section but mostly its about pot limit omaha Hi. So its perefect for you pal. The book is called " Pot Limit Omaha Poker" by Jeff Hwang. I had never herd of the guy but I have to say the books is good and I have been using the strategies in it to do some real damage playing this game.

Let me know what you think if you get it. The easiest place to find this book is on amazon. there you can find a used copy for like 12 13 bucks. Thats what I did.
