That's poker as they say and you win some and lose some. It's definately fun when you win. I just posted a thread about my winning a tournament beating 4-10's with 4-Q's after hitting the forth Q on the river.

Even though I am just learning I still feel that sometimes it is just really all down to the luck of the cards. I know some people do not believe in luck but having watched it on tv I do think it exists.

It is a combination of skill and luck. If you know your outs and odds you'll be able to give yourself a better shot at winning pots. Sometimes it's just all luck when it's all in before the flop and you hope you catch the cards.

That is me alright. Someone goes all in and I yet have to see anything that makes me want to say I have it. But then it happens and I am happy.
