I just started playing pot limit omaha about a month ago. Really by accident mostly. One of the poker rooms I go to spreads the game doing a round of each. One round of no limit holdem and then a round of omaha. At first the game was just crazy but after I read a little bit about it on the internet I decided to try it again. the first time I got crushed. I was up about $900 when we started playin a round of each and I left wiht $150 after severla hours. Well after a little research I went back a few weeks later and within a few hours I walked out with $1100. I found a new game lol. No way could you be up that much playing holdem at a 1/3 blind level. I know went and bought a book on omaha and have learned about hand selection and how to adjust to the game of the nuts. Anyone on here a veteran at omaha? I would love to learn more about how to sucessfully play this game. I am doing ok but I know I could really rock at it with some help from someone wiht more experience at pot limit omaha.

I hear ya Austrian888 I started playing omaha a while back and I just love that poker game myself. I think I have made more money playing omaha then any other poker game. The only problem is that its just not as wide spread as holdem so a omaha game is dman hard to find. Most places do a round of each but one place I go to locally usally starts off that way and when the stacks get deep and the action gets heavy they switch over to omaha. Its only a 1/3 pot limit game but man the pots can get massively huge.

I just hope the game takes off and gets to be as popular as holdem so I have more places to play lol
