This is unbelievable crap folks. I am playing in a $100 buy in tournament thinking that maybe I can get a good poker game. Well not. One guy on the button riases preflop 5 times the blinds I call with A9 the flop comes wiht the A this one guy has been playing any weak A and is going all the way with them he is in the hand wiht me he bets the pot which has been his typical move i call the raiser folds the turn is a blank i ck riase him to all in he calls he has A3 the river gives him a 3 and I am done wiht eh online poker tournament. Unbelievable bad luck. I did everyhting right he got super lucky. He did it agains AK earlier guy puts him all in he calls other guy has Ak donkey catches the 9 on river to give him a bad beat. Unbelievable crap. Ohh well I will get even    like my friend Genbudsmoke says "NEVER GIVE UP!"

Sorry about your beat, But A9 is not a great hand even thou the donkey sucked out on you. I would play an A3 before I played A9. You have more of a chance of catching a straight with A 2, 3 4 5 or A 10, J Q K then an A9. The best you could hope for is top pair or 2 pair. Which when you catch the A your kicker is not that strong. Next time consider staying out of the hand with this type of weaker hand even if it is suited A9 the only outs are a pair, 2 pair or flush draw maybe.

Snowman I agree with you this call was based on the read I had on the guy that was what made me play the way I played it. I just got unlucky by the river really. What he had I knew before we went all in he just got lucky and hit that river with his crap kicker. Cant win em all but I would like to win the big ones at least

well sorry to hear that. But I have a question. Why would someone raise so much so quickly. Would this be in hopes that everyone who drop out quickly or what.
